Archers Handicaps & Classifications Explained

Each Season when you submit your scores to the Records Officer you gain a handicap and work towards a classification of Archer, Archer 1st class, 2nd Class etc, and gain a badge award, which can be worn for that Season then handed back until you win the next Season award. This is based on GB Archery handicap tables and a full description of the system is given by following this link. Classifications and Handicapping Guide v1.3.1
